The Fourteenth Annual World Conference of The Dead Runners Society, DRSWC XIV, will be held in Toronto from Friday, June 30 to Monday, July 3, 2006. That's in Canada, where Cuban cigars and gay marriage are both legal.

See who is coming

The Road to DRSWC XIV

As spring descends onto Toronto and daffodils peep out of the ground, the DRSWC XIV organizers have been busy running around putting finishing touches onto this year's conference. Being the first city outside of the USA to host a DRSWC we hope to impart a distinctly Canadian flavour (hehe) to this yearly grande fête.

So get off your sofa, raise a glass of Creemore, play your legally ripped (in Canada) version of Stompin' Tom Connors, practice ending every sentence with "eh?", grab your hockey stick, toque and lumberjack jacket and head on up to the Great White North this summer... eh?

So What is This About?

The DRSWC is an annual conference hosted by local members of the Dead Runners Society. Each year a different exotic location is granted the privilege of entertaining deads from around the world.

This year's conference in Toronto is the fourteenth edition. Previous conferences have been held in U.S. cities such as Tucson and Boston where much partying, eating, first encounters, repeat encounters and more than a bit of running while doing all of the aforementioned have been the main ingredients in a long weekend of fun.
