Running April 2003

I've started running again. If anyone is interested, here are a few picture from some of the races that I've run. There'll be more!

(103K)	(119K)	I also ran the Glasfit 1/2 marathon. No pics, but this is my impression of the race.
Dis-Chem 21km race, roughly half way	First 1/2 marathon of the year, my first in about 10 years
(85K)	(90K)	(96K)
Johnson Crane 1/2, nice slow run with Hettie. 1/2 way	... and at the finish	Springs Striders 32km. Quite a rough run, but a good finish
(92K)	(67K)	(90K)
Pick 'n Pay marathon. First 42km race in about 15 years, this was 1/2 way.	... and at the finish. I went out too fast ...	"Fly now, pay later"
(77K)	(79K)	(99K)
Ultra-season. Haartebeespoort Dam 50km	Crossing the dam wall around 4km	... and at 46km. I really must learn to pace myself :-)

I sent my impression of the Om Die Dam and Loskop ultra-marathons (both 50km races) to the Dead Runners Society. You can read it here. No pics from Loskop yet, expect them in an updated page around July.
