As we arrived at the height of summer, the children were able to spend a lot of time with their "new" cousins. This made the transition much, much easier for all.

Sheila and Gary very generously invited us to the cottage that they had rented on Crystal Lake, a few hours' drive North. I fear that we overstayed our welcome, and shattered the calm!
